I. No godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, Mary Sues or Gary Stus. If you don't know what those are, Google is your best friend.
Ii. Use a separate form for out-of-character posts and comments. I don't mind what you use as long as it's easily distinguishable from your in-character posts.
Iii. This is a literate roleplaying site; no chatspeak in-character. Please try to use proper spelling and grammar as well - at least when roleplaying. Of course, if part of your character's personality is that they have bad grammar, feel free to use it within reason. Also, while it's not a strict rule, try to make your posts a hundred words or more - if that seems lofty for you, it's something to work towards! Nobody's going to ban you if your post is shorter, don't worry.
Iv. Liquid time is allowed outside of mission threads, and is encouraged. However, each character may only be on one mission at a time.
V. You are allowed as many characters as you want, but you are only allowed one major canon character(marked by bolded names) and one shiny. No legends, glitch Pokémon, or fakemon are allowed(for a list of legends, see here). The following Generation Vi Pokémon are allowed: Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Fletchling, Helioptile, Pancham, Gogoat, Clauncher, Skrelp, the Scatterbug family, Litleo, and Flabébé.
Vi. All characters that are not part of the canon list start out as level 20 or lower. If your Pokémon has the ability to evolve before or at this level, they may be evolved unless they require an item, which must be bought or found. They are allowed four moves, any number of which may be egg moves as long as the parent is consistent. Tutor moves and TM moves must be bought or found. In addition, this site uses a character-per-account system; you are allowed an out-of-character account if you wish, but it's not mandatory.
Vii. All Pokémon automatically have all of their possible abilities, including hidden ones. Take advantage(or disadvantage) of this in combat!
Viii. This is a PG-13 roleplay; violence, romance, and cussing are allowed so long as you don't overdo it. Come on guys, this is Pokémon.
Ix. Be nice. Sure, you don't have to like everybody, but don't be a total jerk. As a general rule, if someone asks you to stop, cut it out.
X. Confused? Don't be afraid to ask! We're always open to suggestions, and clarity will make both our lives easier.
